EK Prosper & Lizzy Rain vs the Culling (Izzi Dame & Niko Vance) (Mixed Match)
EK Prosper and Lizzy Rain defeated The Culling in a mixed tag match. Rain and Izzi Dame started with a physical exchange before Niko Vance entered. Prosper then joined Rain as her partner. The babyface team used quick strikes and stereo tornado DDTs. They also hit stereo dives to the floor. After the break, The Culling took control. Prosper and Rain fought back with strong tag combinations. Rain hit Thunderstruck on Vance before Prosper added a Shining Wizard. Prosper then climbed to the top rope and hit a diving moonsault on Vance. That gave Prosper and Rain the pinfall victory.
Kali Armstrong, Kelani Jordan and Kendal Grey Clash
Kali Armstrong interrupted and demanded her NXT Women’s Championship opportunity. Kelani Jordan then confronted her and argued that Armstrong should be behind her. Jordan reminded Kali that she pinned her during their triple threat match. Kendal Grey arrived with Wren Sinclair and addressed both women. Grey said Jordan had complained for months about getting a title shot. She then revealed that Jordan could choose the time and place for her championship match. Jordan chose NXT Heatwave for the opportunity. Armstrong asked when she would get her chance, and Grey said it would come after Jordan. The segment ended with a brawl between the three women.
Dion Lennox vs Saquon Shugars
Dion Lennox defeated Saquon Shugars after a competitive match. Shugars used quick moves early and scored several nearfalls. Lennox gained control after Cutler James and Osiris Griffin distracted Shugars. He targeted Saquon with strikes and a northern lights suplex. Shugars fought back with a lariat and a strong knee. He also hit a triangle crossbody and looked ready to finish the match. James and Griffin stopped him again by throwing him over the announce desk. Lennox then took advantage and hit a side slam for the pinfall victory. Afterward, DarkState attacked Shugars and finished him with a triple powerbomb.
Wren Sinclair vs Zaria (c) (NXT Women’s North American Championship)
Wren Sinclair challenged Zaria for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Wren started quickly but Zaria soon used her power to take control. Zaria targeted Wren with heavy strikes and a hanging sleeper. After the break, Sinclair fought back with punches and a diving crossbody. She followed with a lariat, back elbow, and butterfly suplex. Zaria answered with a lariat and release German suplex. Wren countered an F-5 into Divorce Court, but Zaria stayed in control. Saquon Shugars and Dion Lennox then caused a ringside distraction. Zaria used the opening to hit the F-5 and retain her championship.
Kam Hendrix vs Mason Rook
Mason Rook controlled the early action and sent Hendrix outside. He followed with a big back body drop. Hendrix answered with strikes and a spinebuster for two. Rook fought back with hard right hands. He followed with an elbow and an enzuigiri in the corner. Hendrix answered with a big crossbody. He followed with a Stinger Splash and corner lariat. Kam then hit a scoop slam and a senton. Rook fought back with a German suplex. He followed with a spin-out Liger Bomb for a nearfall. Hendrix then drove Rook face-first into an exposed turnbuckle. Kam Hendrix won by pinfall with Showtime.
Cruz Montana vs Grayson Waller (NXT Men’s Championship #1 Contender’s Match)
Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller started with a striking exchange. Waller gained control with kicks and a big dropkick. Montana fought back with a double leg and a catapult into the corner. He followed with a back suplex and running senton. Montana then hit a dive to the floor before the commercial break.
After the break, both men traded heavy strikes. Montana hit a corkscrew lariat and a Death Valley Driver. Waller kicked out. Montana later hit a back-roll Ace Crusher. Waller answered with a rolling Thunder reverse STO for a nearfall.
Waller went for a Stunner from the ropes. Montana countered with a discus lariat. Zilla Fatu then entered the ring and hit Montana with a Samoan Drop. Cruz Montana won by disqualification and appeared to become the No. 1 contender.
However, commentary was unsure about the result. After the match, Zilla attacked both Montana and Waller. He hit a diving splash on each man. Zilla then stared down NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo.
