WWE Raw Highlights
Penta Celebrates Money in the Bank Win
Penta el Zero M celebrated his Money in the Bank victory with his briefcase in hand. He thanked the crowd and his opponents, saying he had fought for every opportunity over the past 20 years. Penta promised to cash in whenever and wherever he chose, declaring that he would become a world champion because he had Cero Miedo. Je’Von Evans then arrived with taped shoulders, a sling and injuries from his fall through the ambulance roof. He congratulated Penta and said he deserved the victory. However, Bron Breakker suddenly entered the ring and speared Evans. Penta checked on Evans as Breakker stood nearby.
“Big” Colin Cassady vs Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio defeated Big Colin Cassady with a victory roll after a hard-fought match. Mysterio used his speed to avoid the bigger opponent early on and hit a tijeras into the barricade. Cassady later took control with a lariat and several powerful attacks. Rey fought back with seated sentons and a tornado DDT on the floor. He attempted a 619, but Cassady stopped him with a back elbow. When the referee warned Cassady, Dragon Lee appeared and struck him with an enzuigiri. Mysterio followed with a 619 and a springboard victory roll to secure the pinfall victory.
Chelsea Green vs Roxanne! Perez
Liv Morgan celebrated becoming WWE Women’s World Champion and declared herself the greatest champion of all time. Chelsea Green interrupted and showed respect for Morgan ahead of their Crown Jewel match. However, Morgan dismissed Green as a placeholder champion. Green promised to prove her wrong, while Roxanne Perez stepped in and challenged her to a match.
Perez and Green traded strikes and several near-falls during their contest. Green landed a Rough Ryder and a German suplex, but Judgment Day interfered. Green fought back and sent Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez over the announce desk. Perez then hit Pop Rox to secure the pinfall victory.
Oba Femi Declares Himself an Oba Femi Guy
Oba Femi addressed the crowd after defeating Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank. He mocked Reed’s Tsunami attack and declared that everyone would eventually bend the knee. Paul Heyman interrupted and praised Femi’s performance, saying he had become WWE’s future after surviving Reed’s finishing move. Heyman called Femi the man who could lead the company and hinted at wanting to work with him. However, Femi stopped him before he could make his pitch. He said he was not Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns, who had been Heyman Guys. Femi declared himself an Oba Femi guy and walked away, leaving Heyman stunned.
Chad Gable (c) vs Rey Fenix (WWE Men’s Intercontinental Championship)
Chad Gable defeated Rey Fenix by submission to retain the WWE Men’s Intercontinental Championship. Both men traded counters and near-falls throughout a competitive match. Fenix used his speed to land an Orihara moonsault, an avalanche Frankensteiner and a springboard moonsault. Gable answered with German suplexes, an Olympic Slam and several ankle lock attempts. Fenix also trapped Gable in an ankle lock, but the champion escaped and reversed their exchanges. Near the finish, Gable countered Fenix’s Mexican Muscle Buster attempt and applied a grapevined ankle lock. Fenix could not reach the ropes and submitted. Afterward, Gable helped him up and raised his hand.
The 946 (Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, & Royce Keys) vs the Bloodline (“Main Event” Jey Uso, “Big” Jim Uso, & Solo “Solo Sikoa” Sikoa)
The 946 and the Bloodline’s six-man tag team match ended in a no-contest after heavy interference. Both teams started with a chaotic brawl, using chairs and weapons during the fight. The Usos and Solo Sikoa later fought back, with Solo hitting Royce Keys with a Samoan Drop through the announce desk. As Sikoa prepared to finish Keys, Carmelo Hayes appeared and attacked him with a crowbar. Hayes then helped the 946 assault the Bloodline, striking both Jey and Jimmy Uso. Keys warned Jey to tell Roman Reigns that nobody was safe before sitting over the fallen Bloodline.
