Here We Take A Look At The Predicting India XI For WTC Final

Rohit Sharma (c)

The captain will have a crucial role to play in the batting department, leading from the front and facing the challenge of countering a lethal Australian new-ball attack. This attack includes the likes of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood, who are known for their exceptional skills.

Predicting India XI For WTC Final, Rohit had a successful tour when India last visited England in 2021-22, scoring a total of 368 runs in 4 Test matches with an average of 52.57.

Throughout the WTC23 cycle, he has been one of India’s most reliable players, scoring 700 runs. The Indian team management is counting on him to make one last significant effort to secure the coveted mace.

Shubman Gill

Predicting India XI For WTC Final in this, the Indian team management needs to decide who will open the innings with Rohit, and it seems that Shubman Gill has an advantage over KL Rahul in the competition.

KL Rahul was India’s preferred opener until the middle of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which ended recently. However, Shubman Gill joined the team from the third Test onwards and performed exceptionally well. He scored a magnificent century in the fourth Test in Ahmedabad, securing his spot in the team for the final match at The Oval.

Despite being in the early stages of his Test career, Predicting India XI For WTC Final. Gill has already demonstrated a lot of potential by scoring 890 runs in 15 Tests, including 2 centuries. However, he aims to improve his performance in England, where he has only scored 57 runs in 2 Tests at an average of 14.25.

Cheteshwar Pujara

Cheteshwar Pujara returned to the Indian Test side for the rescheduled fifth Test against England in 2022, following his exclusion from the squad. His impressive performances in County cricket earned him the opportunity to make a comeback.

Given his extensive experience in England, India will rely on him to anchor their batting department against Australia’s attack at The Oval.

In the current World Test Championship cycle, Pujara has emerged as India’s top batter, having scored 887 runs in 16 games. Additionally, he has played 15 Tests in England and scored 829 runs.

Virat Kohli

India’s team is counting on Virat Kohli to deliver another outstanding performance against Australia, making him a sure pick for the upcoming match. Kohli recently demonstrated his exceptional skills during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, in order to Predicting India XI For WTC Final, where he scored a remarkable century during the Ahmedabad Test, proving that he is back in top form in Test cricket. All eyes will be on him as he takes on Australia once again.

In order to Predicting India XI For WTC Final, Virat Kohli boasts an impressive track record in Test cricket against Australia, having scored 1979 runs in 24 Tests, which includes 8 centuries. In the current cycle of the World Test Championship, Kohli has already accumulated 869 runs in 16 matches, showcasing his exceptional skills and consistency in the game.

Kohli is eager to deliver a remarkable performance, particularly after the disappointment of the 2021 final in Southampton against New Zealand. He is determined to bounce back and prove his mettle in the upcoming match, and his fans are eagerly waiting to witness his exceptional skills on the field.

Ajinkya Rahane

Ajinkya Rahane has made a remarkable comeback after being out of the spotlight for a while. He last featured in a Test for India in January 2022, but has since made a strong return to the game. His impressive performance has caught the attention of fans and critics alike, and he is once again in the limelight for his exceptional skills on the field.

Predicting India XI For WTC Final, The former Indian vice-captain who was dropped from the Test side after the South Africa tour has been working hard and showing impressive performance in the ongoing IPL for Chennai Super Kings. He has transformed his game and is now an aggressive No.3.

As of April 25, he has scored 209 runs in 5 matches, which has helped him regain his position in the reckoning and secure a place in the final squad. The back injury of Shreyas Iyer has further boosted his chances of being selected.

Although KL Rahul could be a contender for a spot in the middle-order, Rahane’s proficiency and experience of batting at No.5 for India should ensure his place in the final XI on June 7.

Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja has transformed himself into one of the top all-rounders in Test cricket and is certain to be included in the Indian XI.

Predicting India XI For WTC Final, Jadeja has emerged as a vital batsman in India’s lineup and has even scored a Test century during India’s previous tour of England. His role in the team is crucial as he is the only left-handed batsman in India’s top seven.

Despite the fact that the conditions in England may not be favorable for his left-arm spin, he will still have a significant role to play with the ball. He will need to maintain a tidy line and length and restrict the flow of runs when the ball gets older and the fast bowlers require a break.

During the ongoing World Test Championship cycle, Jadeja has managed to score 673 runs and take 43 wickets. Predicting India XI For WTC Final.

KS Bharat (wk)

KS Bharat made his debut during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia as Rishabh Pant was unavailable due to his unfortunate car accident.

Although Bharat hasn’t been very impressive with his batting, his selection in the squad is a significant show of faith by the Indian selectors. He may face some competition from KL Rahul, who is India’s wicketkeeper in the ODI format. There is some talk about Rahul being preferred due to his superior batting abilities.

However, India is not expected to take any chances with a non-specialist wicketkeeper on such a significant occasion. Therefore, Bharat is expected to be included in the team.

Bharat has scored 101 runs and has been dismissed 8 times in four Tests. In this you will get to know about Predicting India XI For WTC Final.

Shardul Thakur

It is expected to be a significant decision, as Shardul Thakur is likely to be included in the playing eleven instead of Ravichandran Ashwin. During their previous tour of England, India had opted for a combination of four pacers and one spinner, and they are likely to continue with the same strategy.

It seems that Ashwin may not make it to the selection, which would be tough for him as an off-spinner. Thakur is expected to be the fourth member of the pace quartet, depending on the conditions that favor seamers. Unfortunately, it seems that Ashwin may not have the opportunity to play in a Test match in England.

Thakur has a good track record in England, having taken 8 wickets in 3 Tests. Additionally, he is a valuable asset with the bat, having scored two half-centuries in English conditions. That’s why he is in our list of Predicting India XI For WTC Final

Mohammad Shami

With Jasprit Bumrah out of the picture, Mohammad Shami will step up as the leader of the attack and take charge of the new ball.

Having played in 13 Tests and taken 38 wickets, Shami is now a seasoned member of the Indian side with ample experience in Test matches in England.

Shami has been performing exceptionally well in the ongoing World Test Championship cycle, taking 41 wickets in 12 matches.

In recent times, the fast bowler has shown significant improvement in his batting skills, which could be a huge advantage for India. Scoring runs in the lower order can have a significant impact on the outcome of the game.

Mohammed Siraj

The responsibility of opening the bowling and taking early wickets will be given to Mohammed Siraj, who will be partnering with Shami.

Ever since his debut in Australia, Siraj has shown tremendous growth and has become an essential part of the current Indian pace attack. He has a decent track record in England, having played five Test matches and taking 18 wickets. His ability to pitch the ball up and swing it late could make him the most effective pacer in the Indian team at The Oval.

Siraj has had a successful World Test Championship campaign, taking 31 wickets in 13 matches in the current cycle. Here by you will get to know about Predicting India XI For WTC Final.

Umesh Yadav

Umesh Yadav is expected to complete the pace quartet, beating out competition from Jaydev Unadkat. Although Unadkat offers a left-arm option, the Indian team management is likely to choose Yadav due to his extensive experience in international cricket.

In England, Yadav has played in 2 Test matches and taken 9 wickets. Despite being India’s backup pacer in home and away matches, Yadav has made significant contributions to India’s journey to the final. In the current World Test Championship cycle, Yadav has taken 20 wickets in 8 Tests.

Yadav is not only a skilled bowler but also a capable batsman, capable of delivering significant hits, which will further enhance his chances of being selected.
