Top 10 Wicket Takers In The Hundred 2026
10) Calvin Harrison
The English wrist-spinner Calvin Harrison, born in South Africa, has been on the periphery of the English Cricket Team for some time now. Surprisingly, for a team like the Trent Rockets that finished as the runners-up, he is their highest wicket-taker.
Harrison played all nine games for his team this season, in which he took 10 wickets at an economy of 9.09 and an average of 19.70. He also has the best strike rate for any spinner in this top 10 list, with 13.
Calvin Harrison did not have a three-wicket haul this tournament but took two wickets on four separate occasions. His best figures this season came against the London Spirit. In a win against the Spirit, Calvin produced the figures of 2/25.
9) Liam Dawson
English bowling all-rounder Liam Dawson was the premier spinner for league winners Manchester Super Giants. His left-arm finger spin played a crucial role in his team lifting the league title for the first time in their history.
Dawson, who plays regularly for the Three Lions, played all 10 matches for the Super Giants in The Hundred 2026 men’s competition. In these 10 games, he took 10 wickets with an economy of 8.62, an average of 23.30, and a strike rate of 16.20.
The veteran spinner took multiple wickets in a match on two separate occasions this season, with his best figures being a brilliant 3/15, which came in a massive victory against the Birmingham Phoenix.
8) Marcus Stoinis
Marcus Stoinis is one of the best limited-overs all-rounders in world cricket. He proved that by not only finishing in the top 20 highest run scorers in this competition but also in the list of the top 10 highest wicket takers.
The Australian medium-pace all-rounder played seven games for the Southern Brave this season. And while his team did not come near a place in the playoffs, Stoinis himself took 10 wickets with an economy of 8.16, an average of 21.45, and an excellent strike rate of 12.20.
In two different games this season, Marcus Stoinis took a three-wicket haul. And in both those games, he put up the figures of 3/17. However, while he did so in 20 deliveries against MI London, he only took 17 balls to do so against the London Spirit.
7) Nathan Ellis
The Australian fast bowler was a part of the brilliant pace bowling attack of the Sunrisers Leeds and played a big role in his team’s journey to the playoffs.
Ellis played all nine games for Leeds in The Hundred 2026 men’s competition, in which he took 11 wickets at an economy of 7.86, which is the best for any pacer on this list. His average this season was 21.45, and he bowled at a strike rate of 16.36. He also bowled the maximum number of balls possible in nine matches of The Hundred, that being 180.
Rather than having many games with multiple wickets, Nathan Ellis took a wicket in all but one of Sunrisers Leeds’ games. His best figures of 2/18 this season came against the Welsh Fire.
6) Adil Rashid
English leggie Adil Rashid was the best-performing spinner in The Hundred 2026 men’s competition, and there is no doubt about it. Despite playing for an underperforming team in the Southern Brave, the veteran bowler had a tournament to remember.
Rashid, in eight games for the Brave this season, took 11 wickets. On this list of top 10 highest wicket-takers in the competition, he has the best economy and average, being 6.18 and 15, respectively. He also took wickets at a fine strike rate of 14.54. He also bowled the maximum number of balls possible in eight matches of The Hundred, that being 160.
Adil Rashid took wickets in all but one game for the Southern Brave this season. His best figures came against Sunrisers Leeds, where he bowled 20 balls and registered the figures 3/21.
5) Brydon Carse
The second half of the lethal Sunrisers Leeds pace attack alongside Nathan Ellis, English fast bowler Brydon Carse is a regular for the English Cricket Team across formats and proved his place in the national side with a solid performance in this tournament.
Carse played all nine games for the Sunrisers this season, in which he took 12 wickets at an economy of 9.52, an average of 23.41, and a strike rate of 14.75.
Brydon Carse took three wickets in a match on two different occasions this season. His best figures of 3/17 came in victory over the Birmingham Phoenix.
4) Gus Atkinson
Lanky English pacer Gus Atkinson was a part of league winner Manchester Super Giants’ brilliant pace trident. And while batting takes much of the credit in a team winning this league, MSG’s pace attack was arguably their most valuable piece.
Atkinson played all 10 games for the Super Giants this season. He bowled the joint-highest number of deliveries this season, with 195. In these 195 deliveries in 10 matches, he took 12 wickets with an economy of 8.40, an average of 22.75, and a strike rate of 16.25.
Gus Atkinson took multiple wickets in a match on multiple occasions in The Hundred 2026 men’s competition. But his best figures came the only time he took three wickets, as he put up the figures of 3/30 in a 10-wicket victory over the Sunrisers Leeds.
3) Sonny Baker
Sonny Baker is quickly emerging as the best young English pacer on the scene. Considering the future of the national team, he proved that he could not only hang with the best but also prosper at the top level with his excellent performance as part of the Manchester Super Giants’ pace trio this season.
Baker played nine games for the Super Giants this season, in which he took 13 wickets with an economy of 10.04. He took these wickets with an average of 22.15 and a strike rate of 13.23.
Sonny Baker took multiple wickets on a whopping six different occasions this season. His best figures in The Hundred 2026 men’s competition of 2/22 came against the Sunrisers Leeds in the league stage.
2) Richard Gleeson
English pacer Richard Gleeson, at the age of 38, has played in franchise leagues all over the world. And while he might be in the twilight of his career at the top level, the veteran bowler showed that he not only belongs at the top level still but can actually thrive in it.
Gleeson played eight games for MI London this season, in which he took 14 wickets at an economy of 10.18, with a strike rate of 16.85 and a strike rate of 9.92, the best on this list.
Richard Gleeson is one of only two bowlers on this list, and one of five this season, to have taken four or more wickets in a single match. His best figures this season were 4/25, which came against the Sunrisers Leeds.
It might seem unfair that despite being the joint-highest wicket-taker in the league, he only stands second on this list. But due to having the higher economy between the two bowlers who took 14 wickets, he stands second in the rankings, right behind –
1) Josh Tongue
The leader of the vaunted pace trio of league winner Manchester Super Giants, English pacer Josh Tongue, finished The Hundred 2026 Men’s competition as the highest wicket-taker of the tournament.
Tongue played all 10 matches for the Super Giants this season, in which he took 14 wickets at a solid economy of 7.93, an average of 18.42, and a strike rate of 13.92.
Josh Tongue is one of the very few bowlers to take four or more wickets in a match this season. His best figures of 4/26 came in a must-win game, the Eliminator against Sunrisers Leeds.
