Teams Qualified For Round Of 16 Euros 2024: The group stage of the 2024 UEFA Euros is coming to an end and we are now getting confirmation of teams that will make it to the Round of 16. So far, eight teams have confirmed a place in the next round.
While some of the teams that have qualified are among the favorites to win the whole thing, others will now be looking to make a deep run in the tournament.
Here are the teams that have qualified for the 2024 UEFA Euros Round of 16 –
Teams Qualified For Round Of 16 Euros 2024
1) Germany
The hosts of the tournament, Germany have been one of the best teams in this competition so far. They became the first team to qualify for the Round of 16 after winning their first two games against Scotland (5-1) and Hungary (2-0). A 1-1 draw against Switzerland in their third Group A game means that they have finished on top of their group.

2) Spain
Spain became the second team to qualify for the next round after winning their first two games in Group B. After defeating Croatia 3-0 in the first game, a 1-0 win over defending Champions Italy was enough for a place in the Round of 16. Spain has finished their group stage campaign with a 1-0 win over Albania and a perfect record.
3) Portugal
Portugal became the third team to make it to the Round of 16 following their 3-0 win over Turkiye in their second game. This coupled with their 2-1 win over the Czech Republic means that with 6 points, Portugal will at least finish in the top two in Group F even before their game against Georgia.

4) Switzerland
Switzerland became the fourth team to make it to the Round of 16 following their draw against Germany. Having acquired four points in the first two games with a 3-1 win over Hungary and a 1-1 draw with Scotland, a 1-1 draw against the hosts meant that Switzerland would finish second in Group A.
5) Italy
After a 2-1 win over Albania and a 1-0 loss to Spain, it was a crucial match against Croatia for the defending champions. A goal in the eighth minute of stoppage time meant Italy played a 1-1 draw against Croatia. With 5 points in Group B, Italy finished second in the group and became the fifth team to secure a place in the Round of 16.

6) England
Despite being underwhelming in this tournament, England became the sixth team to qualify for the Round of 16 before their final game against Slovenia. A 1-0 win over Serbia and 1-1 draw against Denmark puts the runner-ups of the last tournament at four points. The worst England can finish in this group in third. And with 4 points, they are sure to be in the top-four best-performing third-place sides in this tournament, as Hungary and Croatia have already finished third in Group A and B with 3 and 2 points respectively.
7) Netherlands
The Netherlands are on four points in Group D with a 2-1 win over Poland and a 0-0 draw against France. With 4 points and currently, on top of their group, they became the seventh team to make it to the Round of 16 as the worst they can now do in this group is finish third, which would make them among the top-four best-performing third-place teams.
8) France
Similar to England and the Netherlands, France is on four points following a 1-0 win ov er Austria and a 0-0 draw against the Netherlands. Currently in second in the group with one match to go, France is on 4 points, the worst they can do in this group now is a third-place finish, which will be enough to put them among the four best-performing third-place teams in this competition. So, they are eighth among the Teams Qualified For Round Of 16 Euro 2024.
9) Denmark
Denmark became the ninth team to make it to the Round of 16 following their third draw in the group stage, this one against Serbia. This was enough for them to finish second in Group C behind England. And while Slovenia has the same stats and the two even played a 1-1 draw, Denmark finished above them because of their superior European Qualifiers rankings.
10) Slovenia
Despite all the same stats as Denmark and the same head-to-head record, Slovenia finished behind Denmar in this group in third with three draws. Slovenia became the 10th team to make it to the Round of 16 after playing a 1-1 draw against Denmark, a 1-1 draw against Serbia, and a 0-0 draw against England. And with their goal difference being 0, they already have a better record than two teams that have finished third in Hungary and Croatia.

11) Austria
Austria became the 11th team to make it to the Round of 16 and did so in spectacular fashion. In Group D alongside the likes of France and the Netherlands, which was also called the ‘group of death’, Austria topped the group with two wins and six points. While they opened their tournament with a 1-0 loss against France, they bounced back with a 3-1 win over Poland. They finished their group stage campaign in fine fashion with a 3-2 win over the Netherlands.
12) Romania
Romania became the 12th team to make it to the Round of 16 after topping Group E. Romania started their tournament off in style with a 3-0 win over Ukraine, they then lost 2-0 to Belgium before drawing 1-1 against Slovakia. With all teams finishing on four points in this group Romania topped due to having scored the most goals.
13) Belgium
Belgium became the 13th team to make it to the Round of 16 after finishing second in Group E. A dismal start to the tournament with a 1-0 loss was followed by a 2-0 win over Romania and a 0-0 draw against Ukraine. Finishing the group on four points, they finished second due to a better EUFA qualifier rank than Slovakia.
14) Slovakia
Slovakia became the 14th team to make it to the Round of 16 as they were one of the four best-performing third-place teams in the competition. They kicked their tournament off with a brilliant win over Belgium, before losing 2-1 to Ukraine. A 1-1 draw against Romania was enough for them to finish third and become the third-best performing third-placed side in the tournament.
15) Turkiye
Turkiye became the 15th team to make it to the Round of 16 by finishing second in Group F. They kicked their UEFA Euro 2024 campaign with a 3-1 win over Georgia, which was followed by a 3-0 loss to Portugal. Needing a result on the final matchday, Turkiye defeated the Czech Republic 2-1 to secure a spot in the next round.
16) Georgia
Georgia became the 16th and final team to make it to the Round of 16 with a spectacular result on the final matchday. They kicked off their tournament with a 3-1 loss to Turkiye, which was followed by a 1-1 draw against the Czech. Needing a result against Portugal, Georgia registered a 2-0 win to finish on four points and become one of the best-performing third-placed sides in the competition.
