Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer gave the team a solid finish as RR won the match by six wickets and with 17 balls to spare.

Following the win, the Rajasthan Royals’ social ‘X’ account shared a video of Sanju and Vaibhav as the two shared an incredibly sweet moment. The video was clearly from a day or two ago. In it, Suryavanshi was sitting on a chair. Samson then comes into the frame and sits beside the 14-year-old.
The skipper then hands his young opener a pair of sunglasses, which the teen sensation then wears. The video then shows Vaibhav’s score in the match against CSK, which was 57 off 33.

The video showed the special bond Sanju Samson, who is now a veteran of the league and the team, shares with his young players. And while players like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag are 5-6 years his junior, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is less than half Samson’s age.
With their win against CSK yesterday, the Rajasthan Royals have ended their disappointing campaign in IPL 2025 on a high note. They end the season with four wins, 10 losses, eight points, and a negative net run rate in 14 matches. The Royals end the season in ninth spot on the points table. CSK, which is in 10th with a match to spare, will, in all likelihood, not overtake RR even with a win in their final game.
