Rishabh Pant Joins DC Camp For IPL 2024: Rishabh Pant joined Delhi Capitals team camp ahead of the upcoming 2024 season of the IPL about 10 days before the start of the tournament.
Pant, who will be returning to cricket after a 14-month absence, will be captaining the DC side this season.
After his horrific car crash in December 2022, Pant has been recovering and rehabbing at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for months now. After over a year of recovery, which saw him miss the 2023 IPL, 2023 World Test Championship final, and the 2023 Cricket World Cup, doctors at the NCA finally cleared Rishabh to return to cricket just days ago.

The Delhi-based franchise recently took to social media to announce Rishabh Pant’s arrival at the training camp. The team shared a video on social media and wrote this in the caption –
“Dil se aur Dilli se, welcome home Rishabh #YehHaiNayiDilli #ROARFOR2024 #IPL2024 #RishabhPant”

In a recent Times of India interview, Rishabh Pant discussed how he is looking forward to the feeling of returning to a cricket ground, he said –
“We will see when we get to March 23. I also don’t know how to react. I don’t know what kind of feeling it will be. I am trying to enjoy this. I don’t want to stress too much. I try not to get too much ahead of myself but I do think about the possibilities — both positive and negative. I try to filter that and keep working with a positive mindset.”
Delhi Capitals will kick off their IPL 2024 when they take on the Punjab Kings on March 23 in Mohali.
