Massive Update On Return Of Mayank Yadav: Lucknow Super Giants’ latest sensation, Mayank Yadav, might be close to a return as the team shares a post featuring the young pacer.
Mayank has been one of the most exciting bowlers in IPL 2024. Despite having played only three games, he has impressed everyone with his sheer pace.
The 21-year-old from Delhi rocked the league in his IPL debut against the Punjab Kings. His average speed in that match was 149 kmph, as he bowled over 150 regularly. Taking three wickets on debut, Yadav bullied the batters with pace.

Mayank Yadav Bowled the Fastest Ball In IPL 2024
In the very next match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, he bowled the fastest ball of TPL 2024 at 156.7 kmph. In fact, he has had the three fastest deliveries of the season in just two matches.
Having been completely fit for only two matches, Mayank Yadav broke the IPL record of most balls delivered over 155 kmph as he became the first bowler in the league to go past that milestone three times, that too in just eight overs.
In his third match against the Gujarat Titans, Mayank bowled only one over and did not show his previous pace. He seemingly injured himself while bowling that over, as he went off the field following that and has not been part of the playing XI since.

But now it seems that the pacer has recovered and is coming back to the field. LSG will take on the Mumbai Indians tonight. Before the match, the Super Giants’ bowling coach, Morne Morkel, gave an update on the young bowler’s fitness, saying,
“Mayank passed all fitness tests and will potentially return to the playing squad against MI.”
LSG also posted a video of Mayank Yadav roaring at the popular soundtrack of “Vikram Vedha”, suggesting he will be returning to the side soon.
As mentioned above, the Lucknow Super Giants will take on the Mumbai Indians in Match 48 of the IPL 2024 in Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium.
