Martial to Fenerbahce Latest Transfer Update: It seems like Anthony Martial’s long on-off relationship with Manchester United is coming to an end. The forward, who joined the club in 2015 as one of the most expensive teenagers back then, decided to find a new home after 9 years of riding at Old Trafford.
Martial to Fenerbahce Latest Transfer Update
The 28-year-old Frenchman is reportedly considering a move to Fenerbahce after the Turkish club showed interest in him.
As per the French outlet Les Bons Conceil du Sport, the player is in talks with the club as he has only left 6 months of his contract with the Red Devils. Rather than waiting till the summer to sign him for free, Fenerbahce is set to offer €7 million for the player whom United once bought for a whopping €60 million.

Martial’s United career was full of flair and dust. At times, he showcased his creative connection with the players around him rather than being a goal-poacher who waited for the ball to be served on his plate. Though this helped in building the play that resulted in amazing goals, he failed to create a sustainable impact for United most of the time. Year by year, United No. 9 became less reliable for them.
Martial Should Have Left Earlier
The instability of the United management, which is famous for making football decisions a blunder, has surely affected Martial along his journey with the club. Once pages were written on him as the new lead of United’s attack, the legacy that was left behind by Cristiano Ronaldo (in his first tenure) and Wayne Rooney, Martial fell short of a permanent place in the starting XI most of the time lately. You could blame the injuries or even the change in managers over time, but he should have realized that he would have been better off without the sinking ship of Old Trafford.
The Sevilla loan, though, was expected to be a breather, but the disappointment took the flight along with him to Spain. As United is now doing a complete revamp, Martial finally realized that staying there wouldn’t be the best idea. Late is better than never!
