Manchester United Look To Sign Adrian Rabiot: Manchester United have reportedly contacted Juventus and France midfielder Adrian Rabiot for the third time in the last two seasons.
The Red Devils contacted Veronique Rabiot, Adrian’s mother and agent, to inquire about possibly signing the French players in the upcoming transfer window.
United is currently sixth on the Premier League table with 54 points in 34 matches. They are just a point ahead of Newcastle United and drew their most recent match 1-1 against Burnley.
Manchester United first approached Rabiot’s camp in 2022, soon after Erik Ten Hag became the club’s manager. The 29-year-old midfielder, who was three years into his Juventus stint at that point, rejected the move after the two clubs agreed to a deal.
The second time the English club tried to sign the Frenchman was in 2023. When the deal fell through this time, United had to scrounge up money to sign their backup option, Mason Mount.

It now seems that Manchester United have once again contacted the player. Raqbiot’s current contract is set to expire at the end of this season. Once that happens, United will only have to deal with his camp, as Juventus will be out of the equation.
Juventus is currently third in Serie A with 65 points in 34 matches. Out of contention for the title, the Old Lady will be looking to hold onto their Champions League spot.
Rabiot sat down with TeamTalk earlier this season, where he discussed his future, saying:
“I have not decided anything regarding my future. It is true that last season, I remained at Juventus, knowing full well that we wouldn’t participate in European competition. That was my choice.”
The left-footed midfielder then went on to say that he will arrive at a decision after EUFA Euro 2024.
“Next season, we are due to participate in the Champions League and the Club World Cup. So these are elements in my thoughts, but I have not made any decisions yet. I will wait till the end of the season, then we will discuss it, and at that moment, I will see,” he said.
Apart from Manchester United, the likes of Chelsea, FC Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are interested in signing Adrian Rabiot this summer as well.
As for United, they will take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in their next match on May 7.
