IPL Without MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli: Can you imagine an IPL without MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli? It feels the same when we talk about football without Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. It’s hard to find a better duo who were this effective in terms of luring the crowd into the sport than these two.
MS Dhoni has already been out of international competitions for a long time. And it seems like this IPL was the last dance for the coolest captain. After losing to Virat Kohli’s RCB in what was supposed to be a knockout match, it was heart-wrenching to see MS walking down the tunnel skipping handshakes with the RCB players.
Virat Kohli is also at the tail end of his career. The 35-year-old broke into tears after getting knocked out of the IPL by Sanju Samson’s RR yesterday. Kohli might have a couple of more years in the game, as the great player is on top of his form now. We will be able to see him in the upcoming T20 World Cup, which starts on June 1.

IPL Without MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli: Navjot Singh Sidhu Comments
Former cricketer and Star Sports commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu feels like watching the IPL will be a whole lot different after the two greats hang up their pads. Sidhu calls it a privilege to be able to watch these legends play.
“Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni are the two lifelines of the Indian Premier League. Once they are gone, we will not see the IPL the way we are watching it at the moment. These two pillars have made us fall in love with the best T20 tournament. It is our privilege to see Dhoni and Virat playing in the competition,” Navjot Singh Sidhu said.
