India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup Date And Venue: Another year, another ICC World Cup. 2024 will be the site for the 9th T20 Cricket World Cup. And with an ICC event comes another India vs Pakistan match-up. Both teams being part of Group A of the league stages, they are assured to collide this year as well.
The T20 World Cup 2024’s group stage has been expanded to a whopping 20 teams, with the likes of Papua New Guinea and Oman also partaking in the tournament. The World Cup is set to kick off on June 1 and will take place in The Caribbean and the US.
The first match of the tournament will be between the hosts USA and neighbors Canada in Dallas, Texas.

When Will India And Pakistan Face Off In 2024
India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup Date And Venue
Group A of the 2024 T20 World Cup consists of India, Pakistan, Ireland, USA, and Canada. With four groups of five teams each being part of the World Cup, each team will face off against the others in their group in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will then move on to the Super 8 phase, where the teams will be divided into groups of four each.
The top two teams from these groups in the Super 8 will move on to the semi-finals, from where it is a knockout to the title.
India’s first match in the tournament will be against Ireland on June 5th. The highly anticipated match against Pakistan will be on June 9th in New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. India will then face off against the US and Canada on June 12th and 15th respectively to finish off the group stage of the tournament.
As for the other groups in the league stage, Group B consists of England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, and Oman. Group C will see New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea face off against each other. While Group D consists of South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nepal.
