Manager Jose Bardalas recently opened up about Greenwood and his potential in a recent interview with MARCA. When asked about whether Mason has what it takes to play for big clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid? Jose said –
“Greenwood is a different player, with a lot of talent but in football, talent is not the main thing. It takes more work than talent. When he is at 100% we will be able to check his real level, but he has conditions to play in any big team.”

“A friend called me to tell me about the possibility and at first we thought it wasn’t real, but he confirmed that it was. There were conversations, he had other offers to play in Serie A, but there were many clubs that did not dare because of what had happened and so on. In the end with a lot of effort and with difficulty we all managed to get him to come to Getafe.”
said Barladas.
Mason Greenwood is on a one-year loan to Getafe, which will end at the finish of the 2023-24 season. As per the Getafe Manager Praises Mason Greenwood, After the loan period is completed, the English striker is expected to sign a full-time contract with the Spanish side.
