Devdutt Padikkal Personal Life
He grew up in a family that always wanted him to become a cricketer. His parents, Babunu Kunnath and Ambili Padikkal, planned his cricket journey early, but things were slow at first when he was young.
His family was living in Hyderabad, but they felt he wasn’t getting enough chances there. So they took a big step and moved to Bengaluru. This move changed everything for him. He joined the Karnataka Institute of Cricket, where he trained under coach Mohammed Naseeruddin.
For more than a week, he was only allowed to bowl and didn’t get a chance to bat. That upset him a lot, and he even went home in tears. His father then spoke to the coach and asked him to watch his batting. One look was enough for the coach to realize he had real talent. He started training regularly and never missed sessions. His coach even moved him to higher age groups because he was doing better than others his age.
