Aakash Chopra Reckons Virat Kohli Will Score Big: Cricketer-turned-broadcaster Aakash Chopra is backing Royal Challengers Bengaluru star-batter Virat Kohli to score big in the team’s upcoming match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
RCB will take on SRH in their upcoming IPL match on April 15 in Bengalru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The match will come following a four-match losing streak for the Royal Challengers.
In what has been a dismal season for RCB so far, one that sees them at the bottom of the league table with only a single win in six matches, Virat Kohli has been the only bright spark in this campaign for the Bengaluru-based side.

The former captain of the Indian cricket team is currently on top of the highest run-scorer list and the holder of the Orange Cap. He has 319 runs in six matches with an average of 79.75.
Aakash Chopra Reckons Virat Kohli Will Score Big
In a video preview of the RCB vs SRH match posted on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra claimed that his focus will be on Virat Kohli. After failing in the previous match, the 35-year-old will most likely go big in this match as it is very rare that he does not perform in two consecutive matches.
“The first player in focus will be Virat Kohli once again. The Orange Cap is generally on his head and is there now also. He got out early in the last match, (Jasprit) Bumrah dismissed him, but someone else will be punished because our brother doesn’t get out early in two successive matches,” said Chopra
Aakash Chopra also commented on RCB’s poor IPL 2024 campaign and how fans have reacted to their poor performance by making memes about them. In the same video, he also said –
“Bengaluru is on such a losing spree that RCB’s fans are saying – ‘There is only one heart, how many times will you break it’. A meme fest is on. I have never seen so many memes made for any team. Before or after a Bengaluru match, if you go to Instagram or YT (YouTube) shorts, you only see that.”
Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who are tenth on the IPL 2024 table, will take on fourth on the table Sunrisers Hyderabad tonight.
