WWE Raw Highlights
Sami Zayn to Defend WWE Championship on WWE Raw
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Stephanie Vaquer was not medically cleared to compete, so Becky Lynch would face Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship. Sami Zayn then interrupted Pearce, complaining that he was being overlooked despite being WWE Champion. He praised his own achievements and demanded that fans acknowledge him. Je’Von Evans came out and challenged Sami’s attitude, saying he wanted to become the best in WWE. Sami dismissed him and said he was nowhere near his level. Pearce returned and announced that Sami would defend the WWE Championship against Evans that night, with the match starting after the break.
Je’Von Evans vs Sami Zayn (c) (Undisputed WWE Men’s Championship)
Sami Zayn defeated Je’Von Evans with the Helluva Kick to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. Evans put up a strong fight, hitting a dive to the outside and later connecting with the Red Dot and a frog splash for near-falls. Penta El Zero M appeared near the end, but Bron Breakker attacked him and grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase. Sami took advantage of the chaos and hit the Helluva Kick to win. After the match, Breakker attacked Evans, with Penta trying to make the save. Big Bronson Reed and Logan Paul then joined the assault, with Breakker and Reed hitting spears and Tsunamis on both men.
Bayley vs Lyra Valkyria (No Disqualification Match)
Bayley defeated Lyra Valkyria in a brutal No Disqualification Match by making her submit to a kendo stick-assisted crossface. Both women used weapons throughout the match, including steel chairs, kendo sticks, a broom, and a table. Valkyria landed several big moves, including a Doctor Bomb onto a steel chair, while Bayley answered with a powerbomb into a trash can. Bayley later delivered a diving elbow drop through a table from the top rope to the floor. Back inside, Valkyria tried to fight back with a kendo stick, but Bayley trapped her in the crossface using the weapon, forcing her to submit.
IYO SKY vs Raquel Rodriguez
IYO SKY defeated Raquel Rodriguez with a victory roll pin after a hard-fought match. Rodriguez started strongly, using her power to control SKY before IYO fought back with a guillotine choke and sleeper hold. SKY later took the fight outside, hitting a crossbody and celebrating with fans at ringside. After the break, Rodriguez landed a lariat and fallaway slam but could not secure the victory. Both women traded big moves, including a diving Frankensteiner from SKY and a boot from Rodriguez. SKY avoided the powerbomb attempt and caught Raquel with a victory roll for the win. Afterward, Roxanne Perez attacked SKY, and Rodriguez joined her in a two-on-one assault.
Chad Gable & Dragon Lee vs “Big” Colin Cassady & “All Ego” Ethan Page
Colin Cassady and Ethan Page defeated Chad Gable and Dragon Lee after Page hit the Ego-Plex on Lee for the pinfall victory. Gable and Page started the match before Lee tagged in and targeted Page’s arm. Cassady entered and used his power to control Lee, but Gable returned with a diving double lariat and an attempted German suplex. After the break, the heels isolated Gable and prevented him from making a tag. Lee eventually entered and hit several dives, a satellite DDT, and a Hidden Blade for a near-fall. However, Cassady and Page stopped his comeback, and Page finished him with the Ego-Plex.
Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan (c) (WWE Women’s World Championship)
Liv Morgan retained the WWE Women’s World Championship after her match against Becky Lynch ended in disqualification. Both women traded big moves and near-falls, with Lynch hitting the Manhandle Slam and Morgan countering with Oblivion. Lynch later locked in Dis-Arm-Her, but Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez interfered to save Liv. The referee then disqualified Morgan’s side after Perez and Rodriguez broke up the Manhandle Slam. After the match, Chelsea Green and IYO SKY helped Becky fight off Judgment Day. Tiffany Stratton then arrived with a referee and attempted to cash in her Money in the Bank contract, but Dominik Mysterio pulled Liv out of the ring to protect her title.
