WWE Monday Night Raw took place at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. The show started the build toward next month’s Sunday Night’s Main Event.
Akira Tozawa faced Austin Theory in a grudge match. Tozawa had been targeting The Vision in recent weeks.
Rey Mysterio’s tournament also began during the show. Laredo Kid faced Penta in the opening tournament match. The winner would move closer to challenging Roman Reigns.
Sol Ruca also looked for a partner to face Judgment Day. Becky Lynch also appeared and addressed the WWE Universe.

Jey Uso Sends a Warning to Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa interrupted commentary and sang Jey Uso’s theme song before addressing the crowd. Jey then came to the ring and confronted his younger brother. Jey said Solo knows the family problem and needs to fall in line. Solo rejected that idea and mocked Jey’s recent struggles. He said Jey had lost everything after becoming a former world champion. Jey fired back and reminded Solo that their family helped build his life. He then challenged Solo to a singles match that night. Jey called it a warning shot. Solo accepted and jokingly returned the warning shot with a “pew” gesture.
Laredo Kid vs. Penta el Zero M (Tournament Quarterfinal Match)
Penta el Zero M defeated Laredo Kid in the tournament quarterfinal. Laredo refused Penta’s handshake and attacked him early. Both wrestlers traded fast moves and dives throughout the match. Laredo hit an Orihara moonsault and a 450 splash for nearfalls. Penta answered with a handstand double stomp and a lungblower. Laredo also kicked out of the Penta Driver, keeping the match alive. Both men exchanged superkicks before Laredo hit a Tope Con Giro. Penta then avoided a diving tornillo and caught Laredo with the flip piledriver. Penta scored the pinfall and advanced to the semifinals of the WWE Men’s World Championship #1 contender tournament.
Akira Tozawa vs Austin Theory
Austin Theory defeated Akira Tozawa after controlling much of the match. Theory targeted Tozawa’s arm and back while using several power moves. Tozawa fought back after the break with a DDT, Shining Wizard, and running senton. He continued attacking with chest kicks and a superkick. Theory caught Tozawa during a crossbody and hit the Off Switch for the win. Theory attacked Tozawa again after the match and wanted a chair. Adam Pearce arrived with officials to stop him. Bron Breakker then prepared to attack Tozawa, but Oba Femi arrived. Femi dropped Theory with a boot before officials separated everyone.
Liv Morgan Attacks Becky Lynch After Heated Confrontation
Stephanie Vaquer opened the segment by calling out Liv Morgan and Judgment Day. She said she plans to take them down one by one. Vaquer also warned Roxanne Perez and said Liv should fear her because she wants the Women’s World Championship. Becky Lynch then arrived and said she wants the same thing. Becky questioned Vaquer’s recent absences and said the title deserves her. Vaquer responded that she would fight Becky if she gets in her way. After Vaquer left, Liv Morgan attacked Becky from behind. Becky countered Oblivion and hit an exploder suplex. Vaquer returned, but Liv escaped before the two women faced off.
Dominik Mysterio vs Dragon Lee
Dragon Lee defeated Dominik Mysterio after a competitive match. Lee started quickly with a shotgun dropkick and corner attacks. Dominik answered with strikes and a plancha to the floor. After the break, Lee regained control and hit a Tope Con Giro. Dominik then landed a Michinoku Driver and a 619. He followed with a frog splash, but Lee got his knees up. Dragon Lee then hit Operation: Dragon for the pinfall victory. After the match, Big Colin Cassady attacked Lee and finished him with East River Crossing. Je’Von Evans tried to make the save, but Cassady dropped him with a boot.
IYO SKY & Sol Ruca vs Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne! Perez)
IYO SKY and Sol Ruca defeated Judgment Day in a strong tag match. Raquel Rodriguez used her power early against Ruca. Roxanne Perez then helped control the match with quick attacks. SKY and Ruca fought back with dropkicks and double-team moves. After the break, SKY took control with arm drags and a missile dropkick. Rodriguez and Perez nearly finished SKY several times. Sol Ruca broke up a pinfall attempt and kept her team alive. Late in the match, Ruca countered Perez’s Pop Rox and hit a superkick. Ruca then connected with the Sol Snatcher on Perez for the victory.
“Main Event” Jey Uso vs Solo Sikoa
Jey Uso defeated Solo Sikoa in their family showdown. The match started with both men trading power moves and strikes. Solo gained control and hit a Samoan Drop and Ode to Rikishi. Jey fought back with a spear but Solo kicked out. Big Jim Uso appeared at ringside and tried to help Jey. Solo caught Jim with a Samoan Spike, but Jey answered with another spear. Jey then climbed to the top rope and hit a diving splash for the victory. Jey will now deliver Solo to Roman Reigns and the Bloodline next week. The Usos celebrated while Solo remained in the ring.
