Mo Salah to PSG: According to reports, Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has opened the door for a potential move to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain. The Egyptian’s contract with the Reds will expire at the end of the season.
Salah has been in incredible form for the English Premier League’s current leaders and has been the league’s best player so far. The Egyptian has already scored 10 goals and 6 assists from 12 games, the latest from Liverpool’s stunner against Manchester City yesterday.
Even though the winger has been showcasing extraordinary football for the club, Liverpool haven’t initiated talks on contract renewal with the player. Salah had voiced against Liverpool’s cold approach in an interview, saying
“We are almost in December, and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club. I’m probably more out than in. You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end it is not in my hands.”
Salah also answered with a ‘yes’ when he was asked whether he is disappointed with the club’s approach.
“Of course, yeah. I love the fans. The fans love me. In the end it is not in my hands or the fans’ hands. Let’s wait and see. I’m not going to retire soon so I’m just playing, focusing on the season and I’m trying to win the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League as well. I’m disappointed but we will see.”
Mo Salah to PSG? Liverpool Star Opens Door for the Move
Now according to the latest report by the French publication L’Equipe, Mo Salah has been in active talks with PSG, and the Liverpool legend is open to playing for the French champions to fill the vacant place left by Kylian Mbappe following the latter’s departure to Real Madrid.
If everything goes well, it’s the best chance for PSG to get hold of one of the most lethal wingers in the world for free in the coming summer.
