Lionel Messi Says Antonela is Everything to Him
In the latest interview with ESPN Argentina, the 2023 FIFA World Cup winner spoke about his personal life. When he talked about his wife Antonela Roccuzz, Leo said the words wouldn’t describe how much she meant to him.
“Defining everything she means to me… anything I say will fall short. She is very important, and she is everything for me.”
Messi has known Antonela since his childhood and they have been together since then. The couple got married in 2017 and have three boys named Mateo, Thiago, and Ciro. In one of the earlier interviews, Leo had also talked about wanting a baby girl.
“We’re not trying, but I don’t know. We’ll see if a baby girl arrives.”
Messi is preparing for the 2024 Copa America with his teammates. Argentina will play against Canada in the tournament’s inaugural match on June 21 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
