Group D
In the proverbial ‘Group of Death’ of this tournament, three teams will have a realistic chance of making it out of the group, with the other two being proper dark horses of the tournament. Group D is made up of South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and the Netherlands.

Sri Lanka vs. Nehterlands | June 17 | 6:00 AM | Daren Sammy Cricket Ground, Gros Islet, St Lucia |
Predicting which two teams will make out of this group is not easy. While South Africa and Sri Lanka might look like obvious choices, Bangladesh can never be completely counted out in the group stage of a World Cup. And while Nepal might be new to all this, the Netherlands defeated South Africa in the most recent T20 World Cup and is one of the most exciting teams in the world. With all that being said, South Africa and Sri Lanka are the favorites to make it out of this one.
