Devon Conway Tested Positive for COVID-19: Who is the Replacement?
The replacement for Conway would be Chad Bowes, who has experience playing in 11 T20Is.
Statement by NZC
The New Zealand Cricket (NZC) released a statement informing Conway’s unavailability.
“Conway has been in isolation at the team’s Christchurch hotel after testing positive yesterday. Canterbury Kings batsman Chad Bowes will join the squad today as cover.

“Bowling coach Andre Adams has also tested positive for COVID and will also remain at the team’s hotel. Canterbury Men’s Development Coach Brendon Donkers will join the team for today’s match to help out in Adams’ place,” NZC added
New Zealand Losing Firepower
Mitchell Santner was the first to test positive for COVID-19 in the New Zealand squad and had to miss the first T20I as a result. Then they lost Kwne Williamson to injury, and now, by losing out to Conway too, New Zealand is actually facing a lack of depth in the batting department.
Though things aren’t favoring Kivies very well, it might not affect them that much as they already bagged the 5-match T20I series 3-0.
