Feyenoord Thrash Lazio In The Champion League: Group E of the Champion League 2023-24 is producing absolute scenes as Feyenoord thrashed Lazio 3-1 to maintain their position at the top of the group on October 25. The first match was played in Feyenoord’s De Kuip Stadium. Both teams started the match a little on the defensive front, with none of them able to breach the other’s defences for a solid shot on target. In the injury time of the first half, Feyenoord scored a second. After a solid passing play by the Dutch club saw right-wing Calvin Stengs pass the ball back to Ramiz Zerrouki at the edge of the box, who rocketed the ball into the net with a fantastic finish, 2-0.

Feyenoord did make it 3-0 in the 71st minute. A brilliant ball by Zerrouki found Alireza Jahanbakhsh on the edge of the box. He sent the ball in, which was saved by Provedel. But the rebounded ball found Gimenez, who slotted the ball into the net, 3-0.
Lazio did receive a penalty in the 82nd minute, which was converted by Pedro. But this might have been too little, too late. The match ended 3-1.
Feyenoord, currently third in the Eredivisie, will face off against Twente and RKC Waalwijk in their next two matches in the league, before a Champions League rematch against Lazio on November 8. Meanwhile, Lazio will take on Fiorentina and Bologna in their next two Serie A matches before facing Feyenoord again.
