In TATA IPL 2023 Awards, Gujarat’s youngster has been incredible this season, scoring 890 runs in 17 matches across the competition. His remarkable innings have been the backbone of the GT batting lineup’s march to the final as the table leaders this season. His 129-run inning in qualifier two against the Mumbai Indians (MI) is one of the most remarkable innings the IPL has ever witnessed.

According to the TATA IPL 2023 Awards, Muhammed Shami bagged the purple cap after his stunning 28-wicket performance this season. He has been the main man for the Gujarat Titans in bowling, along with Rashid Khan.
