An IPL veteran at this point, Rashid can lay the claim of being one of the best of all time in the league. In the 109 matches he has played in the T20 franchise tournament, he has taken a staggering 139 wickets. He has also been batting with a strike rate of over 200 for the last two years in the league.

2) Shakib Al Hasan
No.1 ranked ODI all-rounder in the world, Shakib Al Hasan has constantly been the best all-rounder in the world for over a decade. Counting the Bangladeshi captain’s stats and performances is futile. The 36-year-old is well and truly one of the greatest cricketers of the modern era.

The 24-year-old pacer will represent Afghanistan possibly for the last time in this World Cup, as he has announced his retirement following the conclusion of the tournament. One of the brightest non-spin bowling prospects Afghanistan has ever produced.
He has played only seven ODIs and none since 2021. He has, however, taken 14 wickets in those 7 matches. T20Is are where he has showcased more for Afghanistan. In the 27 matches he has played in the shortest format, he has taken 34 wickets with an average of just over 20.
