Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Interrupt CM Punk
CM Punk addressed his upcoming Money in the Bank match and explained why he wanted to compete at 47. He recalled winning the briefcase in 2008 and 2009, saying he wanted to make history with a third victory. Punk praised Je’Von Evans, Penta, Trick Williams and Bron Breakker before dismissing Kevin Owens. Owens interrupted and said winning the contract would let him target Sami Zayn while also stopping Punk. Punk mocked him, and Owens climbed a ladder to confront him. Zayn then joined them with the WWE Championship. He called himself a survivor and said neither Punk nor Owens was focused enough to win the briefcase.
Team Raw (Lola Vice, Roxanne! Perez & Sol Ruca) vs Team SmackDown (Jacy Jayne, Lash Legend & Tiffany Stratton)
Team Raw’s Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez and Sol Ruca faced Team SmackDown’s Jacy Jayne, Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton. Sol started strong against Jayne, but Perez struggled after her teammates left the apron. Vice later caught Legend with a Frankensteiner into the ring post. The match continued with dives from both teams before the break. Afterward, Ruca struggled to reach her corner as Jayne kept her isolated. Vice eventually entered and attacked all three opponents with kicks. The match later broke down, and Ruca hit a DDT on Legend. Jayne broke up the pin attempt, allowing Legend to hit Lash Extension on Ruca for the win.
MFTs (Talla & Tama Tonga) vs War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
The MFTs’ Talla and Tama Tonga faced the War Raiders in a hard-hitting tag team match. Talla used his power against Erik early, while Tama joined in with quick strikes. Ivar entered and cleared the ring before hitting a spinning sidewalk slam and crossbody. The War Raiders continued fighting back after the break, but Tama hit the Tower of London for a near fall. Bakusai then appeared at ringside, distracting Tama and allowing Ivar to land the Banzai Drop. The MFTs then hit Brother’s Keeper to secure the victory. Afterward, Bakusai and the War Raiders continued fighting them.
Cody Rhodes Vows to End Randy Orton Legacy
The Miz and Kit Wilson interrupted SmackDown, with Miz demanding a birthday celebration after twenty years in WWE. Cody Rhodes arrived and cleared Wilson from the ring before hitting Miz with Cross Rhodes. General Manager Nick Aldis then appeared and said he wanted to prevent the situation with Randy Orton from getting out of control. He invited Cody to discuss arranging their next meeting. Cody refused to back down and recalled how Orton left him injured after their WrestleMania match. He revealed that his daughter cried after seeing his injuries. Cody said he would carry that fear everywhere until Orton’s Legend Killer reputation was finished. He demanded a face-to-face meeting with Orton, even offering to travel to St Louis.
Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley vs Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) (c) (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship)
Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley challenged Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Bliss and Reid started the match before Henley helped her team gain control. Paxley later entered and attacked both champions with strikes, a dropkick and a German suplex. After the break, Paxley escaped an elbow drop and tagged Bliss, who attacked Reid with several strikes and a DDT. Bliss hit Sister Abigail on Reid, setting up Paxley for the finish. Paxley then delivered Cemetery Drive to Henley and secured the pinfall. Bliss and Paxley won the match and became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Bron Breakker vs Trick Williams
Bron Breakker and Trick Williams battled in a hard-hitting match, with both men trading powerful attacks. Breakker sent Williams into the announce desk and hit a diving lariat over it. After the break, Williams fought back with right hands and a Cyclone Kill. Breakker answered with a double knee gutbuster for a near fall. Williams later countered Breakker’s charge with Trick Shot, but Austin Theory attacked him before he could finish the move. The referee awarded Williams the win by disqualification. Afterward, The Vision attacked Williams until Je’Von Evans and Penta El Zero M arrived to help. Bronson Reed then joined the fight and hit Williams with the 747 Splash.
