These two franchises have retained and have kept faith in their captains in IPL 2025, the ones they appointed only last season and could not take the team to success. For CSK, that captain is Ruturaj Gaikwad, who took the title of captaincy from MS Dhoni, a five-time IPL-winning skipper.
