Copa America 2024 Semi-Finalists
With 8 teams in the likes of Argentina, Ecuador, Venezuela, Canada, Columbia, Panama, Uruguay, and Brazil surviving the group stage and reaching the quarterfinals, 4 passed their test and booked tickets to the semis.
Argentina beat Ecuador in the quarter and faced Canada in the semis. Canada came there by trespassing on the Venezuelan test. The result went the way of the defending champions, as Argentina beat Canada 2-0.
Uruguay and Columbia met in the second semifinal. Uruguay defeated tournament favorites Brazil in penalties, while Columbia slaughtered Panama in the quarterfinal. The semifinal between these two giants ended in a brawl, with Columbia winning the match with an alone goal from James Rodriguez.
