Virat Kohli has topped the first-ever Fortune India–Interbrand ranking of India’s most valuable celebrities. His estimated brand value was placed at ₹3,542 crore.
Virat Kohli finished first on the list. Shah Rukh Khan ranked second, while Priyanka Chopra Jonas came third. The study looked beyond earnings and endorsement deals.
Cricket stars had a strong presence in the rankings. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was fourth. Sachin Tendulkar ranked eighth.
Other names in the top 10 included Ranveer Singh at fifth, Akshay Kumar at sixth, Amitabh Bachchan at seventh, Alia Bhatt at ninth, and Allu Arjun at tenth.
Among women celebrities, Deepika Padukone was the highest-ranked. Rashmika Mandanna, Kriti Sanon, Smriti Mandhana, and Nayanthara were notable names.
The top 25 also featured Diljit Dosanjh, Arijit Singh, Karan Johar, Rohit Sharma, Sourav Ganguly, and Vicky Kaushal.
The rankings showed that film stars made up most of the list. But cricket remained the second-biggest source of celebrity brands in India.
