Stuart Broad Showers Praise On Jasprit Bumrah: Former legendary English fast bowler Stuart Broad called India and Mumbai Indians quick Jasprit Bumrah a “complete T20 bowler.” He also hyped up Jasprit’s upcoming battle with South Africa and Sunrisers Hyderabad wicketkeeper-batsman Heinrich Klassen.
Bumrah showed his class off in MI’s first match of IPL 2024 against Gujarat Titans. While last year’s runner-ups put up a score of 168/6 in the first innings, the 30-year-old finished his four-over quota with excellent figures of 3/14.
When not out with injury, Bumrah has been one of, if not the best pacer in the world for the last few years. He even played a massive role in India’s dominant run to the final in the 2023 Cricket World Cup.

The iconic pacer’s Mumbai Indians will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next IPL 2024 match. SRH lost their first match of the season against Kolkata Knight Riders by 4 runs while chasing a massive target of 209.
SRH’s standout player in that match was Heinrich Klassen, who scored a scary 63-off-29 and nearly dragged his team to victory.

Stuart Broad, who has faced the wrath of Bumrah on several occasions as a tail-order batter for England, recently discussed the upcoming battle between Jasprit and Klassen during a recent discussion with Star Sports, hyping both players up while saying this –
“Honestly, he looks superb. If there is anyone who is a complete T20 bowler in the world, it has to be him. And the battle to watch out for tomorrow is between Klaasen and Bumrah. Klaasen is probably the most in-form T20 batter at the moment. He is hitting sixes for fun. Nearly got the team over the line from an impossible position against KKR. As soon as he walks into the crease, what do I do?”
Broad went on to recommend Jasprit Bumrah as to what he should practice in training before the match to gear himself up for a battle against the South African.
“I am going to get Jasprit Bumrah to warm up and bowl him a Yorker, trying to hit the stumps. Klaasen looks confident; he hits it straight and high; he is such a powerful guy. So it is something that I cannot wait to watch. And if Klaasen hasn’t faced Bumrah yet, it will be difficult because Bumrah is a very difficult bowler to get used to,” said Broad.
Mumbai Indians will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the latter’s home ground Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on March 28.
