SRH Assistant Coach Calls SKY Exceptional: Suryakumar Yadav rose like a sun on a Monday evening, and the Mumbai Indians outclassed Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets. It was an unusual evening for SKY as well as MI, as both were limbing in this IPL, struggling to find form.
Batting first, SRH put forward could only score 178 runs in 20 overs. This again played out against the script, as SRH normally scores above 200 when they bat first. They have crossed the 250 mark multiple times in this IPL.
Replying to that, Suryakuar Yadav scored a scintillating century of 101 runs from just 52 balls, and that was enough for MI to steer the ship towards victory.

SRH assistant coach Simon Helmot called SKY exceptional. According to Helmot, it’s very difficult to bowl against Suryakumar Yadav when he is in the mood. He admitted that the tactics that SRH tried didn’t work against the MI batters.
“It’s very difficult to bowl against Suryakumar Yadav. He is a very difficult batsman to match up with when he is in that sort of mood. He did not make many mistakes throughout the match. We did our best to mix things up and get him out, but he was just too good tonight,” Helmot said after the match.
“Suryakumar is an exceptional cricketer, and I think he is always going to demand a spot in the Indian team. I am sure that he will have an influence in the World Cup,” he further added.
