See Delhi Capitals Jersey For IPL 2025:The Indian Premier League side Delhi Capitals has revealed their jersey for the upcoming season of IPL 2025 before even announcing their captain.
We are not just over a week away from the start of IPL 2025, where 10 teams will collide for the ultimate glory in franchise cricket. The competition will start on Saturday, March 22, with the opening match being between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
As for the Capitals, they will commence their campaign on Monday, March 24, when they take on the Lucknow Super Giants at their secondary home ground, the ACA/VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Vishakhapatnam.

DC is one of the four teams this season that have never won the IPL title, with the others being the LSG, RCB, and the Punjab Kings. In 2024, the Delhi Capitals finished sixth in the league table but had the same number of points as the fourth-placed Royal Challengers.
After a mixed 2024 season, which saw a number of positives coming from DC, especially their young foreign batters, they retained only four players ahead of the 2025 season, those being Indian Cricket Team stars Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav. They also retained rising South African batter Tristan Stubbs and Indian uncapped wicketkeeper/batter Abhishek Porel.
However, it was arguably the biggest news at the time of the IPL 2025 retentions. This team let go of arguably the greatest player in the history of the franchise, their captain Rishabh Pant.

Now, with a very fresh squad with some familiar faces thrown in, the Delhi-based franchise is ready for IPL 2025 and will look to win the league for the first time in its history. They have now revealed their jersey for the upcoming season.
One more thing DC has afresh is their captain. Though it was KL Rahul who was expected to be on the DC reigns, the player denied to become the captain. So the franchise decided to go with Axar Patel to lead them in IPL 2025
