Sameer Rizvi is from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. His family belongs to Lohia village, but they live in the Lal Kurti area of the city. He grew up in a simple household and is one of four siblings.
From a young age, Sameer was fully focused on cricket. He had very little interest in studies and did not complete high school. His father often told him to study, but at the same time, he kept supporting him. His father would take him to the ground, wait, and bring him back home after practice.
