Rayudu Says Canada Will Beat Pakistan Easy: Former Indian cricketer Ambatti Rayudu sent a dig at Pakistan, saying Canada would easily defeat Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup match.
The comment is based on Pakistan’s poor performance in the tournament, losing all of the two games played.
While the first and least expected loss was to the hosts USA in Super Overs, the second and least wanted one was to their arch-rivals India.
Losing one more will send them packing, and the team wouldn’t want that, as the backlash they are receiving from their country after the India loss has been tremendous. Many of their fans have expressed hopelessness online, as have some international cricketers. Ambatti Rayudu is one of them.
Rayudu was having a discussion on Star Sports with another ex-Indian cricketer, Piyush Chawla.

Rayudu digs at Pakistan, saying it will be an easy walk for the Canadian team. The former batter backs his opinion by opening up the Greens’ record book from the last two games.
“Canada will easily beat Pakistan in the World Cup game. The way Pakistan are playing, any side can defeat them. They can’t even complete a chase of 120 against India. Even against the USA, the batters didn’t do anything. Their bowlers failed to defend 159.
“I don’t see Pakistan winning games in the World Cup. There is no coordination between the players,” Ambati Rayudu said on Star Sports.
But Piyush Chawla wasn’t buying any of these. He thinks Pakistan’s experience will help them go past Canadians.
“I don’t think so. Pakistan have more experience than Canada, and this will help them. Their bowlers are much better,” he said.
