Prize Money for ICC Champions Trophy 2025: The ICC on Friday revealed the prize money for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The upcoming tournament is the ninth edition of the Champions Trophy, which was first played in 1998. The tournament is making its comeback after eight years, with the last edition being held in England in 2017, which Pakistan won by beating India in the final.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played from February 19 to March 9. The competition will be held across four venues—Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Dubai (only India matches)—in a hybrid model.
This is the first ICC tournament that Pakistan will host since co-hosting the 1996 World Cup.

Prize Money for ICC Champions Trophy 2025:
The total pot for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is $6.9 million, which is a whopping 53% increase from the 2017 edition.
The winners of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will receive US$2.24 million, and the runners-up will get $1.12 million. The two losing semi-finalists will get $560,000 each.
There will be prize money awarded for each group game win as well. Each group match win is worth more than $34,000. Further, the teams that finish third in their respective groups will get $350,000 each, and the teams that finish last in their groups will take away $140,000 each.
In addition, all eight teams are guaranteed $125,000 each as a participating prize in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Group A consists of India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. Group B includes New Zealand, Australia, England, and Afghanistan. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
India will play all their matches in Dubai, including the knockouts if they reach that stage. The first semi-final is slated to be played in Dubai, regardless of whether India reaches it or not. The final will be played either in Lahore or in Dubai, depending on India’s progress.
