WWE NXT Highlights was taped at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show continued the fallout from Great American Bash. The show featured two four-way number one contender matches. Izzi Dame, Layla Diggs, Lizzy Rain, and Thea Hail competed for a shot at Zaria’s North American Championship.
Birth Right, DarkState, OTM, and the team of Legacy and Van Dux also competed. The winning team earned a future NXT Tag Team Championship match against Swipe Right. Nattie Neidhart challenged Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Championship. Shiloh Hill also faced Niko Vance in a singles match.

Kali Armstrong Sends Message to NXT Women’s Division
Kali Armstrong opened the show by saying she made herself the center of attention after attacking NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey. She claimed everyone was talking about her instead of the new champion and promised she would soon take over the women’s division. Lola Vice interrupted, saying Kali had not earned a title shot and reminded everyone she still deserved her rematch. Kelani Jordan then joined the argument, saying she had actually earned a title opportunity by defeating Tatum Paxley. As Vice and Jordan argued, Armstrong attacked both women with a double lariat and stood tall in the ring.
Birth Right (Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Uriah Connors) vs DarkState (Cutler James & Osiris Griffin) vs Dorian Van Dux & Sean Legacy vs Out the Mud (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price)
Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy won a chaotic four-way tag team match to become the new No. 1 contenders for the NXT Men’s Tag Team Championship. Birth Right, DarkState, Out the Mud, and Van Dux and Legacy traded momentum with several big team moves and dives. The action spilled outside the ring as every team got involved. Late in the match, Birth Right and Out the Mud fought into the aisle, leaving Van Dux and Legacy with an opening. Van Dux hit a diving splash before Legacy followed with a springboard 450 splash to pin Uriah Connors and secure the title opportunity.
Keanu Carver vs Tank Ledger
Keanu Carver defeated Tank Ledger after a hard-hitting singles match. Carver started fast and controlled much of the action with heavy strikes, a pounce, and a kneeling powerbomb, but Ledger kept fighting back. Tank nearly turned the match around with a senton atomico, a Saito suplex, and repeated attempts to lock in a full nelson. Carver escaped each time and stopped Ledger’s momentum with a powerful dropkick. He then finished the match with a spinebuster to score the pinfall victory.
Tavion Heights Reunites With Myles Borne
Tavion Heights apologized for the way he treated Myles Borne before Great American Bash. He admitted he became jealous of Borne’s success and let his fear of being forgotten affect his actions. Before Borne could respond, the Vanity Project interrupted. Jackson Drake demanded an apology from Heights and mocked his recent success, claiming his win was only possible because of Borne. Tavion answered by offering Drake a rematch and saying he would beat him again. The Vanity Project then attacked Heights, but Myles Borne ran to the ring to make the save. The two friends cleared the ring and embraced afterward.
Izzi Dame vs Layla Diggs vs Lizzy Rain vs Thea Hail (Women’s North American Championship #1 Contender’s Match)
Layla Diggs won a fast-paced fatal four-way match to become the No. 1 contender for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Izzi Dame, Lizzy Rain, and Thea Hail all came close to victory during the match. The action stayed chaotic with constant counters, dives, and near falls. Thea nearly won with several quick pin attempts, while Dame and Rain traded heavy strikes late in the match. After Izzi knocked Thea down with a kick, Diggs took advantage of the opening. She hit a diving moonsault on Thea Hail and scored the pinfall to earn the championship opportunity.
Kendal Grey (c) vs Nattie Neidhart (NXT Women’s Championship)
Kendal Grey retained the NXT Women’s Championship by defeating Nattie Neidhart in the main event. The match featured strong mat wrestling before outside interference nearly changed the outcome. Nikkita Lyons and Karmen Petrovic tried to distract Grey, but Wren Sinclair and Lola Vice stopped them, leading to a brawl at ringside. Back in the ring, Neidhart locked in the Sharpshooter, but Grey fought through it. She recovered and hit Shades of Grey to score the pinfall victory. After the match, Jaida Parker confronted Neidhart, while Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, and Kali Armstrong stared down Grey to end the show.
