New Zealand to Play White-Ball Series in Sri Lanka, In June-July 2023, the New Zealand National Women’s team is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka for the One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) series. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) officially announced the itinerary for the tour on Thursday, May 18.
The ICC Women’s Championship will include the ODI series, which is set to commence on June 27. It’s worth noting that the White Ferns will arrive in Sri Lanka on June 23. According to the ICC Women’s Championship standings, New Zealand is currently in third place, while the host team Sri Lanka is in seventh place. However, if Sri Lanka manages to win the series, they will have a chance to move up to second place with a total of 11 points.
As per New Zealand to Play White-Ball Series in Sri Lanka During June-July, After the 50-over match, both teams will play a three-match T20I series. Before the T20I leg, the visiting team will have a practice T20 game against Sri Lanka Board President’s XI on July 6. The T20I series will commence on July 8, and all matches will be held at P.Sara Oval in Colombo.
All three matches of the T20I leg of the tour are scheduled to be played in Colombo, starting from July 8.
On June 23, the White Ferns are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka.
