Irfan said on Star Sports that Mayank Yadav is a better bowler than Mitchell Starc.
“Mayank Yadav is a better bowler than Mitchell Starc. Despite being new and inexperienced, Yadav has beaten the best batters in the world with six wickets in just two games. He knows where to pitch the ball to stop batters from scoring runs. He has enough knowledge to pitch the ball in the right areas to take wickets.
Pathan also added that the Australian is struggling to get his line and length right ‘despite being a World Cup winner and a match-winner for Australia’.
“He has bowled better than Starc. The Aussie pacer is finding it hard to get his line and length right despite being a World Cup winner and a match-winner for Australia. He has been taken for plenty of runs by the batters. On the other hand, Mayank has hardly conceded any runs,” Irfan Pathan continued
“Mayank is the pride of India, and we all should celebrate his success without overthinking,” he added.
