Amidst what many are hailing as another peak in his storied ODI career, Virat Kohli had a rare failure as he was castled for a duck in the IND vs WI 3rd ODI.
Already having an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, India won the toss and elected to bat first in the IND vs WI 3rd ODI in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh.
However, India’s innings hit roadblocks very early as captain Gill and former captain Kohli were dismissed for single digits. Both the right-handers became victims of the express pace of Jayden Seales.

The ball held its line and beat Kohli’s inside edge, going through the bat pad gap, and thudded into the stumps, flattening the middle stump that now lay lifelessly on the ground as Kohli stared at the pitch.
For many Indian fans, the match was already finished in a space of two legal deliveries as the ‘King’ and the ‘Prince’ were back in the dressing room.
This was the 19th duck in Kohli’s ODI career and his 41st in international cricket. Only one Indian has registered more ducks in ODIs and more in international cricket than Kohli.
