England lost two wickets in the first over of their chase to Arshdeep Singh. However, Brook’s 15-ball 39 married to Bethell’s 46-ball 76*, as the left-hander, in support of 39 from Tom Banton, marched his side over the line with six balls to spare.
The IND vs ENG 1st T20I had been washed out after India’s innings.
In the 3rd T20I, England will look to take an unassailable lead in the five-match series, while Iyer’s India would be desperate for their first victory on their UK tour, with Iyer still bereft of a win as India’s T20I skipper.

The India vs England 3rd T20I is slated for Tuesday, July 7, at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. The scheduled start time of the match is 10 PM IST. Indian fans can live stream the T20I series between India and England on the JioHotstar website and app.
Meanwhile, India have announced an unchanged XI for the 3rd T20I, retaining the side that thumped India in the 2nd T20I.
