Harsha Boghle Picks Samson for T20 World Cup: Commentator Harsha Bhogle called the RR skipper sharp-minded when he was asked to pick a captain who really stood out in the IPL 2024.
Boggle was talking to Cricbuzz when the anchor asked him this question. Without a flinch, Boggle picked Samson to be the best.

Boggle said that he is genuinely impressed with the Rajasthan captain. He also mentioned that it’s not just because of the team’s position at the top of the points table, but a lot of factors combined. According to him, to reach the top and continue like that, one would have to do more things right than wrong.
“The one captain I’m genuinely been impressed by and I think that shows in their position on the points table, is Sanju Samson and Rajasthan Royals. And I’m not saying that simply because you’re on top. But if you have to come to the top of the table in a contest as intense as this, you’ve got to be doing more things right than wrong,” said Bhogle.
Boggle praised the planning that the Rajasthan Royals have done for the IPL. He said that he could see a certain calmness in Sanju Samson and called him ‘sharp-minded’.

“There are a couple of examples that I’ll give you. I’ll tell you why, if you see the way they started, you could see that the planning had been done already. You had Bolt and Burger very clearly defined roles, then you had Ashwin and Chahal and then you had Avesh and Sandeep Sharma. How well they’ve used the impact sub? Most people are complaining about it, but they have used it better than anybody else. So just look at them; I see a certain calmness, but I also see a very sharp mind that’s playing situations very well,” he added.
When he was asked whether Sanju Samson would go to the T20 World Cup, Boggle had this answer to give:
“In my book, every single day. In my book, he’s among the first players to be picked.”
