Australia vs England T20 World Cup Date And Venue: Australia will face off against England in one of the most highly anticipated matches in the 2023 ICC T20 World Cup.
The schedule for this year’s T20 World Cup was released this week and fans immediately looked for the marquee matches in the group stages. One of the biggest matches here is the salivating Group B match-up between the defending T20 World Champions England and the defending ODI World Cup Champions Australia.
The 2024 T20 World Cup is set to commence on June 1 in The US and the Caribbean, and the first match will see the hosts USA take on neighboring Canada in a Group A match.

As for the matches in Group B, the match between Australia and England will take place on June 8th in the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. The rest of the group consists of Namibia, Scotland, and Oman as the two heavyweights are expected to make it to the next round.
The top two teams from these groups in the Super 8 will move on to the semi-finals, from where it is a knockout to the title.
Australia’s first match in the tournament will be against Barbados on June 5th. They will then take on England on June 8th. Their last two matches will be against Namibia and Scotland on the 11th and 15th of June respectively.
While England will kick-odd their tournament against Scotland on June 6th. After taking on Australia on June 8th, the defending champions will face off against Oman on June 13th. They will then finish off their group stage against Namibia on June 15th.
As for the other groups in the league stage, Group A consists of India, Pakistan, Ireland, the USA, and Canada. Group C will see New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea face off against each other. While Group D consists of South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nepal.
