Ashok Sharma Personal Life
Ashok Sharma had a very tough early life and almost left cricket completely. Around 2021, after not getting chances at higher levels, he decided to focus on studies. He even thought about getting a government job to support his family’s farming work.
Everything changed because of one small moment. He saw the Red Bull Speedster talent hunt online and went for trials. Even though registrations were closed, he somehow got a chance and kept performing round after round. That event brought back his confidence and pushed him back into cricket.
He comes from a simple farming family near Jaipur. Money was a big problem. At times, he didn’t even have proper gear and had to borrow shoes from other players like Akash Singh. His elder brother also sacrificed his own cricket dream so Ashok could continue playing.

He trained far from home and even stayed in a hostel because daily travel was not possible. His family couldn’t afford many basic things, and he often skipped small comforts. Now, after earning from IPL contracts, he helps others facing similar struggles. He has even supported a small cricket academy in his village.
