What is the World Championship of Legends?
The World Championship of Legends (WCL) is a T20 cricket tournament featuring retired international cricketers. It is sanctioned by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The first edition was held in 2024.
The inaugural tournament was held in England in July 2024. It featured six teams: India, Pakistan, Australia, England, South Africa, and the West Indies.

In 2025, AB de Villiers was the star of the final. He smashed an unbeaten 120 off 60 balls to lead South Africa to victory.
