WWE NXT took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show continued the build toward Halloween Havoc.
A major interpromotional battle royale took place on the show. Wrestlers from NXT, WWE’s main roster, AAA, TNA, and Evolve competed. The winner earned a shot at Kelani Jordan’s NXT Women’s Championship.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic also continued with two first-round matches. Shiloh Hill faced Naraku again in singles action. Zilla Fatu also continued his feud with Birth Right by facing Lexis King.
WWE NXT Highlights
Zilla Fatu vs Lexis King (w/ BirthRight)
Zilla Fatu defeated Lexis King in their match on NXT. Fatu started aggressively and shoved King before sending him into the ring apron. He also confronted BirthRight at ringside. After the match, King, Channing Stacks Lorenzo, Uriah Connors and Charlie Dempsey attacked Fatu. King handed Dempsey a chair, which he used on Fatu’s midsection and back.
Dempsey then drove Fatu shoulder-first into the ring steps. BirthRight also trapped Fatu’s thumb between the steps and ring post. Fatu later fought back and hit King with a spinning back heel kick. He followed with a crossbody onto King, Dempsey, Stacks and Connors before being attacked again.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger vs Viktor Zanov and Shido Ash (2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic)
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger defeated Viktor Zanov and Shido Ash in the first round of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Walker and Ash started the match before Zanov and Ledger were tagged in. Ash later pinned Walker, but Walker kicked out and rolled him up. Walker and Ledger then took control with quick strikes and double-team attacks.
Ledger hit a back suplex and Swanton Bomb, while Walker sent Ash over the announce desk. Walker hit a spinning sidewalk slam before Ledger returned to deliver a double splash. They finished with a shoulder tackle and powerslam combination, allowing Ledger to score the pin.
Grayson Waller Sets Number One Contender Match
Grayson Waller said he was not surprised to retain the NXT Championship last week. He praised EK Prosper for his performance and said Prosper could become champion one day. Waller then challenged the NXT locker room to step up and face him. Myles Borne came out and said he was done worrying about expectations and fans. He said he deserved to be champion and had become unbreakable.
Tony D’Angelo then appeared and said he wanted to win back the NXT Championship. Waller suggested Borne and D’Angelo face each other in a Number One Contenders Match next week. Borne then attacked D’Angelo with a loaded punch, using quarters as the weapon.
Shiloh Hill vs Naraku
Shiloh Hill and Naraku traded control early, with both men using headlocks, strikes and clotheslines. Naraku later took over with headbutts, a chop and a running senton. He locked Hill in a crossface, but Hill reached the ropes to break the hold. Naraku continued his attack with a sit-out powerbomb and another senton.
Hill then avoided the blue mist, but the mist hit the referee and blinded him. The referee called for a disqualification, ending the match without a winner. Hill and Naraku continued brawling up the entrance ramp before officials separated them. Meanwhile, Kendal Grey completed her required therapy sessions.
Tokyo Bad Boys vs Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey (w/ BirthRight) (2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic)
Tokyo Bad Boys faced Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey in the first round of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Kento and Dempsey started before Takuma joined the action. The Tokyo Bad Boys used quick double-team moves, including a double back body drop and hurricanrana. Kento then hit a crossbody on King from the top rope.
Dempsey fought back and knocked both opponents off the apron. Takuma later hit Dempsey with a Spanish Fly and followed with a 450 Splash. Dempsey and Takuma battled on the ropes before Dempsey pulled him down and hit a back suplex. Dempsey scored the pin, sending BirthRight into the quarterfinals.
20 Woman Number One Contenders Battle Royal (NXT Women’s Championship)
Wren Sinclair won the 20-woman battle royal to become the new number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. Several wrestlers were eliminated throughout the match, including Zaria, Izzi Dame, Ivy Nile, La Catalina, Kiana James, and Reina Volcan. Lizzy Rain and Kali Armstrong reached the final two, but both held onto the ropes after going over the top.
Armstrong eventually eliminated Rain and thought she had won. Shani then pushed Armstrong off the ropes to win the match. Shani revealed herself as Wren Sinclair after removing her mask. Despite being suspended, Sinclair was officially announced as the new contender for Kelani Jordan’s title.
