WWE Raw Highlights
LA Knight and Roman Reigns Clash Ahead of Money in the Bank
LA Knight said Money in the Bank was five days away and his only focus was Roman Reigns and the WWE Men’s World Championship. Knight said Reigns represented the establishment and promised to tear it down on Saturday. Reigns then appeared with the title and said he was not distracted by 946 or Knight.
He accused Knight of taking the easy route after his match with Penta el Zero M and called him a complainer. Reigns said Knight was not on his level and promised to break him at Money in the Bank. Knight fired back by calling Reigns a corporate puppet and vowed to take his title.
Je’Von Evans & Penta el Zero M vs the Vision (Austin Theory & Bron Breakker)
Je’Von Evans and Austin Theory started the match before Bron Breakker tagged in and controlled Evans. Theory later stopped Evans from tagging Penta, keeping him isolated. After the break, Penta finally entered and changed the pace with tijeras, a bulldog and an enzuigiri.
Evans returned and took the brass knuckles from Theory while Maxxine Dupri distracted the referee. Evans then used the loaded punch on Theory to win by pinfall. After the match, Bronson Reed attacked both men and hit Penta with the 747 Splash. Oba Femi made the save and fought off Reed and Breakker. Femi then challenged Reed for Money in the Bank.
Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne! Perez) vs Lola Vice & Sol Ruca
Lola Vice and Roxanne Perez started the match before Sol Ruca and Raquel Rodriguez joined the action. Vice and Ruca worked together early, using double attacks to send Rodriguez and Perez outside. After the break, Rodriguez isolated Ruca and stopped her from making the tag. Ruca eventually reached Vice, who attacked Perez with several kicks.
The match broke down as both teams traded double-team moves and near falls. Rodriguez stopped a pin attempt after Vice hit a back suplex on Perez. Later, Vice and Ruca nearly finished Perez, but Rodriguez broke it up. Rodriguez then accidentally caught Ruca with a backfist. Perez took advantage and pinned Vice with a bridging folding press.
“All Ego” Ethan Page vs. Rey Fenix
Rey Fenix and Ethan Page started with a technical exchange before Page took control with a headlock. Fenix used his speed to fight back, hitting an enzuigiri and Goodbye Amigo from the top rope. Page answered by driving Fenix into the turnbuckles and hitting Tan Sheamus.
After the break, Fenix escaped a reverse chinlock and landed several fast attacks. He hit a handspring Ace Crusher and Angel’s Wings, but Page kicked out. Fenix then hit a superkick, but Page caught him during another springboard attempt. Page also survived a running powerslam. Fenix countered Page’s attack with an inside cradle and scored the surprise pinfall victory.
Dragon Lee & Rey Mysterio vs Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh)
Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee started strongly against Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. Lee used his speed to attack JD, while Rey hit a diving seated senton before the break. Judgment Day then isolated Rey and stopped him from reaching Lee. Dominik targeted his father with elbow drops and a Gory Facebuster.
Rey later fought back and hit Dominik with a satellite DDT before trying to tag Lee. Big Colin Cassady pulled Lee off the apron and attacked him outside. Rey fought back with a tijeras but JD stopped him with a headbutt and pinned him. After the match, Cassady attacked both Rey and Lee again with a sidewalk slam and big boot.
Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan (WWE Women’s World Championship #1 Contender’s Match)
Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan battled for a shot at the WWE Women’s World Championship. Lynch controlled the early action before Morgan took over with strikes and a reverse chinlock. Becky fought back with an exploder suplex and other attacks. After the break, both women traded submissions and near falls. Morgan escaped the Dis-Arm-Her by biting Becky and later used a half-crab.
Judgment Day interfered several times, while Stephanie Vaquer arrived to stop Roxanne Perez. The interference continued until the match was stopped and ruled a no-contest. Vaquer then demanded a triple threat for Saturday. Adam Pearce made it official, with Vaquer set to defend her title against Lynch and Morgan.
