DBG Vs BFW Match Prediction: European T20 Premier League 2026 is the first season of a new franchise league that aims to increase the popularity of cricket across the European continent. Six teams from four countries will see players from all over the world compete for the first-of-its-kind prize in European cricket outside England.
The Dublin Guardians are based in the national capital of Dublin. The team has strong Indian roots, as it is owned by ‘The Wall’ Rahul Dravid, coached by Vikram Rathour, and captained by legendary Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. This team is almost entirely filled with European players. Some of the news to look out for are Irish all-rounders George Dockrell and Harry Tector, Ireland pacer Josh Little, former Indian Cricket Team all-rounder Vijay Shankar, and New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell.
The Guardians suffered a massive defeat to the Belfast Wolves in their opening game. A loss to the Glasgow Cosmic followed this. Their losing streak extended to three games when the Edinburgh Castle Rockers beat them, after which came a loss to the Rotterdam Dockers. A fifth loss in a row came against the Amsterdam Flames.
Belfast Wolves will be the only Northern Irish team in the competition, based out of the national capital of Belfast. Their captain this season will be Australian batting all-rounder Glenn Maxwell. Some of their key players include veteran South African batter David Miller, Kiwi wicketkeeper/batter Devon Conway, and English bowling all-rounder Chris Jordan
The Wolves comfortably defeated the Dublin Guardians in their first game of the season. Their next two games were affected by rain. While the one against the Rotterdam Dockers was washed out, the one against Amsterdam Flames produced a win. A loss against the Edinburgh Castle Rockers was next, followed by a win against the Glasgow Cosmic.

DBG Vs BFW Match 18 European T20 Premier League 2026 Malahide Cricket Club Pitch Report
The Malahide Cricket Club provides a more typical shorter-format pitch, and as the match goes on, the batting becomes easier. There is usually decent grass coverage on the surface here, which makes the batter’s job difficult at the start of the inning, especially the first one. The pacers show their dominance for much of the first inning, especially when the ball is not old. But then, as the pitch gets a little old, the batters do a lot better in the second inning. This is why teams batting second have a higher rate of winning here. The boundaries in this stadium are of an average length. While the square boundaries are around 62-64m, the straight boundaries are about 68m away from the batter.
DBG Vs BFW Match 18 Weather Forecast
