Ashok Sharma had a very tough early life and almost left cricket completely. Around 2021, after not getting chances at higher levels, he decided to focus on studies. He even thought about getting a government job to support his family’s farming work.
Everything changed because of one small moment. He saw the Red Bull Speedster talent hunt online and went for trials. Even though registrations were closed, he somehow got a chance and kept performing round after round. That event brought back his confidence and pushed him back into cricket.
