Garnacho Hints at Manchester United Exit: What Happened?
Garancho, who has been brilliant for the club in the Europa League this season, was only allowed 19 minutes in the final. Despite being a key contributor, United manager Ruben Amorim decided to go with Mason Mount over the Argentine. This didn’t go well with the player, and as he spoke to the media in the post-match presser, he dropped down a trfansfer hint
The frustrated Garnacho was asked about the game, and he showed his emotions for not being picked as a starter in the final.
“It’s obviously tough for everyone after this season, which was really sh*t, both now and after losing the Community Shield. We didn’t beat anyone. Up until the final, I played every round, I helped the team. Today, playing 20 minutes… I don’t know.
Replying to the question regarding his future at the club, Garnacho hinted at a potential exit from Manchester United
“The game has an influence, but the season itself and the situation at the club… I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next.”
Garnachos brother Roberto also slammed the coach for not picking his sibling.
“Working as no one else, helping every round, coming from two goals in the last two finals, just to be on the pitch for 19 mins and get thrown under the bus. Wowe, hahahahahaha.”
Amorim was quick to reply back as the Man United coach said, as reported by Fandom:
“It’s easy to talk now. Who missed a clear chance in the first half of the semifinal? Garnacho. That’s football.”
