3) Zinedine Zidane
The legendary French footballer made a very successful transition to being a manager. In 2014, he was first appointed as the manager of Real Madrid B. Then, in 2016, he was promoted to be the boss of the main team.
What followed was one of the most glorious periods in the long and illustrious history of the Madrid-based club. Until that time, no team had won the UEFA Champions League two years in a row in its modern form since 1992. Not only did Real do that in 2015/16 and 2016/17, but they three-peated the title, winning it in 2017/18 as well. Zidane left the club.
He returned for a two-year stint in 2019, winning La Liga and the Supercopa de Espana before leaving the manager role again in 2021. Overall, Zinedine Zidane won two La Ligas, two Spanish Supercups, two UEFA Supercups, two FIFA Club World Cups, and three UEFA Champions Leagues for a total of 11 trophies.
