Jos Buttler Hits Massive 115m Six Vs West Indies: Jos Buttler Hits Massive 115m Six Vs West Indies: England limited-overs captain Jos Buttler hit a gargantuan 115-meter six against the West Indies in the second T20I of the ongoing five-match series and took his team to a comfortable victory.
The England Cricket Team is currently facing the West Indies in a five-T20I series in the Caribbean. After winning the first match in a dominant manner, the Three Lions entered this T20I, being played in the Kensington Oval in Barbados, with a lot of confidence. It was the visitors who won the toss and decided to bowl first.
England had the Windies reeling at 20/2 within three overs. Before the end of the powerplay, the home side lost their third wicket as well. By the time they reached the 100-run mark, the West Indies had already played 15 overs and lost their sixth wicket soon after.
Some late hitting by Romario Shepherd and Matthew Forde took the Windies to 158. Captain Rovman Powell was the team’s highest run scorer, scoring 43 in 41 balls with a subpar strike rate of 104.88.
With the pitch not expected to do much, especially in the second inning, the English were the favourites to win this match. However, Phil Salt, who scored a century in the first match, lost his wicket on the first ball of the England inning. But then walked in captain Buttler.
Jos is one of the finest T20 batters in world cricket. Apart from being a legend of the England Cricket Team in the format, he has also dominated several franchise tournaments across the world, especially the IPL with the Rajasthan Royals in the past five seasons.
While he did take a measured start to his inning, the skipper soon started attacking all-comers. While opener Will Jacks held onto his wicket on one end, Buttler took the responsibility to attack.

To bowl the ninth over, the West Indies brought on left-arm finger-spinner Gudakesh Motie. On the first ball of the over, Jack took a single, while on the second, Jos scored a four. But it would be the third delivery that made headlines. As Motie bowled a little full, Buttler stepped out, took a full swing of the bat, and connected the ball perfectly as the leather flew into orbit.
The ball sailed over long-on, over the fans in attendance, and over the tallest roof of the stands, going out of the park. It was announced that the ball had travelled 115 meters.

This inning comes at the perfect time for Jos Buttler. Having been released by the Royals ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, the English skipper will surely be one of the most expensive players in the auction, which will take place on November 24 and 25.
As for the England vs West Indies series, the English are now 2-0 up in the five-game series. They will be looking to win the next match, which will be played on Friday, November 15, and take the series trophy home.
